In August 2025, we opened our doors on the site of the old Harlyn Inn – almost six years to the day since it last poured a pint. Since then, our terrace has filled with sandy feet and sun-warmed faces; pints have flowed, stories have been shared, and that familiar holiday hum has returned to the bay. The laughter, the buzz, the music, the slight chaos that comes from feasting in good company after a day well spent by the sea – that’s the energy we live for.

Harlyn Bay attracts an incredible mix of people, and The Harlyn is here for all of them. We’re a taproom and open-fire kitchen built around fire, flavour and community – a place where exceptional ingredients are served in a relaxed and casual setting, and where everyone from families to food lovers can find something that fits their mood. In the kitchen, our team cook over coals, serving seasonal dishes that celebrate Cornwall at its best. At the bar, 13 taps pour everything from local classics to national favourites, backed up by an eclectic wine list, cocktails and many low-and-no options. A year-round calendar of events keeps things lively long after the sun goes down.

We’ve spent time listening to what the bay really needs – something that complements the food-forward scene that North Cornwall and the Seven Bays have become known for, while honouring the legacy of this site as a home for friends, families, dogs and making memories by the sea..
